The Main Library building will be closed Saturday, August 16th through Sunday, August 24th for a carpet replacement project.
The current carpeting in the library’s Adult and Young Adult area is 17 years old and well-trodden. A weeklong closure is necessary to move books, shelving, study carrels, desks, and equipment. During the closure, materials in the Main Library’s collection may not be readily available, as they will be safely stored during this project. The eLibrary is open 24/7.
During this closure, the Main Library’s Drive-Up Window will be open:
Monday-Thursday – 9:00am to 7:00pm
Friday – 9:00am to 6:00pm
The Westacres Branch will be open normal hours during the closure at Main. Please note that the Westacres Branch is currently experiencing an internet outage. Public computers and wi-fi are unavailable.
