The West Bloomfield Township Public Library is committed to providing everyone with unimpeded access to library resources, programs, and services. The library is continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

Library accommodations include:

  • UserWay Accessibility Widget available across the wblib.org website
  • Drive-up window at the Main Library, open during business hours
  • 24-hour return bins
  • Handicap parking
  • Motion sensor drinking fountains
  • Automatic entry doors at the Main Library
  • Accessible computer workstation at the Main Library with a magnified keyboard, Dragon Naturally Speaking and JAWS software, and a Kurzweil scanner
  • Mobility chair available at the Main Library upon request
  • Restroom door buttons at the Main Library
  • Virtual tours of both branches (Note: Spaces have been updated since images were taken in 2019.)
  • Home delivery services available to residents who are unable to easily visit the library
  • Special collections like large print books, magnifiers, caregiver resources, Tender Topic Kits for youth, Health and Wellness Kits for adults, and more
  • If you have concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations for a library event, please contact the library
