Volunteering
Looking for a way to contribute to the community or need service hours for school? Just love hanging around the library? Then we have a job for YOU! Consider donating some of your time to the library by becoming a volunteer.
Review of submitted applications can take up to a week. Not every applicant is accepted. Priority is given to West Bloomfield residents and students. Please fill out the form below to start the volunteer application process.
Possible volunteer assignments may include:
- Adopt a Shelf: shelf reading and making sure library items are in the correct order
- Program Prep: prepare crafts, assemble kits, etc.
- Program Helper: assist librarians with special adult and teen programs, including setup and cleanup
- Book Sorting: sorting and moving book donations
