The Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the library make information and knowledge accessible to the communities it serves. Funds are generated by memberships, book and Friendshop sales, and gifts.
The Friends of the West Bloomfield Township Public Library was established in 1956. Since the opening of the new Main Library building in 2000, the Friends have donated more than $750,000 to the library. Friends’ contributions have included:

Board Meetings
The Friends of the Library Board meets the third Monday of every month at 6:30 PM. Meetings are held at the Main Library – 4600 Walnut Lake Road.
