The Main Library Drive-Up includes 24/7 exterior return bins and window holds pickup service during library hours. The Main Library lobby includes displays of new movies and trending titles. Return bins are located to the left in the vestibule, with checkout desks along the left wall. A Casual Study room near the entry offers vending machines and a microwave for patron convenience. Food is welcome in this room. Browse new books in attractive displays toward the front of the adult collections. Study tables are available throughout the Main Library adult area. Computers toward the back of the adult area are available for public and guest use. There is an also ADA accessible computer workstation. Study pods remove visual distractions, with footrests, adjustable desks, and outlets for convenience. Individual study tables line the back of the adult area. The Young Adults room includes seating and collections geared toward students. Group Study Rooms vary in capacity from 2-6. Some rooms include whiteboards or TVs. Rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis to West Bloomfield Library cardholders. A new Community Commons boasts flexible seating and a large whiteboard. It is open for public use when not reserved for a program. The Reflection Room is a space to decompress, meditate, pray, or read quietly. It features a privacy screen, yoga mats, rocking chairs, cushioned floor seating, and views of the woods. At the back of the adult area, explore comfortable seating near a fireplace, which is lit in the colder months. Fireplace seating offers a cozy reading environment in cool winter months. Picnic seating on the Friends Terrace offers outdoor seating in warmer months. Enter this terrace at the door near the fireplace, or explore the Storybook Terrace in the Youth area or the Westacres Terrace at the branch. The youth area includes computers for families to use. Bright colors distinguish open seating in the youth area from other library spaces. Families can request toys and games from the Youth Services Desk to use at tables or on the floor in the youth area.
