The West Bloomfield Library is stocked with books, services, and more to help children Grow Up Reading, including reading lists that your family can complete to earn books to keep.
Programs designed with babies in mind, like Babies & Books and Parent Playgroups, help young families connect with other parents, kids, and resources in the community.
Visit either library branch to explore youth spaces at your own pace. Plus, ask a librarian to select from among numerous toys available upon request!

Does your household have a new baby (birth to 6 months)? West Bloomfield Township Library offers Brilliant Baby Kits to our newest, youngest community members. Please fill out the form below so we can provide you with a Brilliant Baby Kit, sponsored by the Friends of the West Bloomfield Library. It’s never too early to build early literacy skills and nurture the love of reading! Brilliant Baby Kits are only for residents of West Bloomfield and contract communities (Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake, Orchard Lake) with a current library card in our system.
